Why?
At BBHD, we understand the competitive landscape that is the hockey market in the GTA. Whether your team has made playoffs and is looking toward GTHL/OWHA finals or provincial showcases, as April approaches, every player will be gearing up for tryout season. March Break is a prime opportunity for players to hunker down and fine tune their skills so that when April arrives, they’re ready to shine at whatever skate they attend.
But more than that, we believe hockey should be FUN.
Even in the most competitive months.
While this camp will be a guaranteed fast-paced, high-compete based program, our goal is to ensure that each and every one of the players attending leave each skate feeling accomplished and excited about playing this wonderful sport.
What makes us different?
There are a plethora of other hockey and skating schools across the GTA, all boasting their own niche. What’s ours?
Aside from the fact that we know how to teach skating in a way that is fun and exciting, we aim to connect with all of our players, fostering a genuine support system for our students. Toronto’s hockey market is dense and can often be — for lack of a better word — cut-throat. This is hard on kids and on you as parents — and we understand that. In our programs, whether private, team-based, or within camps like this one, we strive to identify mental blocks and tackle confidence development as well as on-ice/game-based skill. We want kids to walk away from our programs feeling supported, seen, and valued.
…And with prettier edges :)
In layman terms:
Look Good, Feel Good, Play Good.
